Careful use of blends in a 2D drawing package can often give a photo-realistic look far faster than building the item in a 3D modeller – especially when metallic lustres are wanted.

We have produced several product visuals for clients who wanted their customer to see what the envelope sketches look like before prototyping even starts. It’s more cost-effective to illustrate design variations before prototyping, than to make mock-ups and have them photographed – especially when the cosmetics are of particular importance.
